This 5HP motor starter is compatible with 480V three-phase 50/60Hz, is protected by a NEMA 4, 4X enclosure and features a 110V 50Hz or 120V 60Hz coil voltage with a NEMA 0 starter size.

The EXP-MTSTR-DOL-3P-480V-5HP-5A explosion proof starter is designed to start and preserve industrial motors in flammable work sites. This unit comes with an FLA rating range of 1 amp to 5 amps and features a 7-amp disconnect trip. This unit can be mounted on walls or other flat surfaces and contains 1.5” NPT and 3/4” NPT hubs on the top and bottom of the enclosure. Also available is a 1/2″ NPT hub for the drain breather.

This explosion proof starter includes manual or automatic restart options and is cooled via natural wind, making the device suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The device is housed in a copper-free aluminum enclosure with 316-grade stainless-steel cover bolts. The breaker handle can be secured via padlock in the ON or OFF position to prevent tampering.

The EXP-MTSTR-DOL-3P-480V-5HP-5A is suitable for use in flammable environments, chemical processing, food manufacturing, industrial motors, overload protection, reduced voltage starter, equipment preservation, pumps, manufacturing belts, inrush control, power monitoring and more.
