(NASDAQ:TTOO) today announced the closing of its underwritten public offering of 7,015,000 shares of common stock, including 915,000 shares of common stock pursuant to the underwriters’ exercise in full of their option to purchase additional shares, at a public offering price of $7.50 per share, before underwriting discounts, for gross proceeds of approximately $52.6 million. All of the shares of common stock sold in the offering were offered by T2 Biosystems.
Leerink Partners LLC acted as the book-running manager for the offering. Canaccord Genuity LLC acted as passive book-running manager. Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, JonesTrading Institutional Services LLC and WBB Securities LLC acted as co-managers for the offering.
