Green Spirit Industries Inc. Completes Construction on First of Five Anticipated Medical Cannabis Dispensaries in Puerto Rico

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Nov. 14, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Green Spirit Industries Inc. (OTC Pink:GSRX) (“Green Spirit” or, the “Company”) announced today that it has completed construction on the first of its five medical cannabis dispensary locations in Puerto Rico.  The Company’s Dorado location is prepared for final inspection by the Department of Health of Puerto Rico (the “DHPR”).  Once the location passes inspection and the DHPR issues the requisite operating permit, Green Spirit may begin operating its medical cannabis dispensary in Dorado.

“We are very happy that Green Spirit will soon be serving patients in Puerto Rico, with this, the first of our many planned dispensary locations on the island,” said Les Ball, CEO of Green Spirit.  “We’ve seen a tremendous need among the underserved population who have come to depend on the medicinal qualities provided by cannabis in the treatment of various conditions.  Our thanks go out to all who have worked so hard to help the island recover vital resources and capabilities, and we are looking forward to becoming a trusted source of medical cannabis for the wonderful Puerto Rican people who are now legally permitted to use it.”

Green Spirit’s medical cannabis dispensary is located at the Paseo del Plata Shopping Center, Building No. 3, P.R. 696, int. José Efrón Avenue, in Puerto Rico’s Dorado municipality.  The dispensary is a safe and secure space where patients will be afforded both private consultation and a wide assortment of medicinal cannabis products for purchase. Dorado, a popular tourist destination, is located approximately 15 miles west of San Juan with a number of golf courses, beaches and luxury hotels, including Dorado Beach – A Ritz-Carlton Reserve, the Caribbean’s only 2017 Forbes Five-Star Hotel and Spa award winner.  Dorado is also home to upscale neighborhoods and a picturesque central square.  Dorado Beach East is one of the islands most sought-after luxury residential areas, and home to some of Puerto Rico’s most exclusive neighborhoods and multi-million dollar residences.

The Company anticipates completing construction at its other locations during the first quarter of 2018, with operations commencing thereafter upon receipt of the requisite operating permits from the DHPR.  For more information about Green Spirit, visit the Company’s new website at
