ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., March 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Canyon Gate, an Associa company, recently welcomed seasoned sales and management professional Veronica Armendariz to its staff as business development manager to further its portfolio growth in El Paso, Texas, and Santa Fe and Albuquerque, N.M. Armendariz possesses nearly 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the Southwest working in a variety of business development positions.

Armendariz joins Associa from John Wiley & Sons where she was a publisher’s representative, managing a territory consisting of more than 500 accounts in the Southwest. She obtained $1.7 million in sales for eight educational institutions in the Southwest, while collaborating with customers and colleagues to strategize effective methods for using digital and print products.
Prior to John Wiley & Sons, Armendariz was an area sales manager for Medi-Quip International, working to plan and execute growth goals. She helped orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, pain management physicians and physical therapists to promote patient referrals for post-op and pain management medical devices. Armendariz consistently met her patient referral goals and tripled patient fittings during her tenure.
Armendariz also served as an admissions recruiter at both California College of San Diego and Ashford University. She was continually part of both institutions’ top 10% of producers and consistently exceeded monthly and annual goals. Overall, she generated millions of dollars in revenue each year during her time in higher education.
A 2008 graduate of the University of Texas, Armendariz holds a business administration degree.
