NEW YORK, July 07, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — WisdomTree Investments, Inc. (NASDAQ:WETF), an exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) and exchange-traded product (“ETP”) sponsor and asset manager, today announced that ten additional ETFs have recently filed notification with the Financial Services Agency of Japan (FSA). With these additions, WisdomTree now has available a total of 27 ETFs for sale in Japan through Japanese securities companies.
The 10 newly notified ETFs expand WisdomTree’s range of equity products available to retail investors in Japan, at a time when Japanese investors are looking to diversify away from cash and Japanese Government Bonds (JGBs) into foreign stocks and bonds for additional income and return potential. The strategies include WisdomTree’s novel dividend growth methodology, as well as Japan’s first liquid alternatives ETFs through the offering of the Dynamic Long/Short U.S. and Dynamic Bearish U.S. Equity Funds.
