Flushing Bank Unveils Plans to Open a New Manhattan Branch at 99 Park Avenue

UNIONDALE, N.Y., Sept. 15, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Flushing Financial Corporation (the “Company”) (Nasdaq:FFIC), the parent holding company for Flushing Bank (the “Bank”), announced that the Bank plans to open a new full-service branch at 99 Park Avenue in Manhattan. This branch is scheduled to open on September 28th. This new full-service branch continues the Bank’s planned expansion of its branch network, bringing the total number of branches in the metropolitan area to nineteen. This will be the Bank’s second branch located in Manhattan and will provide enhanced access for the Bank’s business and personal customers who work or live in Manhattan. The announcement was made by John R. Buran, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Flushing Bank’s 99 Park Avenue branch will be offering special promotions and giveaways through the end of October. The 99 Park Avenue branch will be open 5 days a week with hours of operation on Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
