Visualant, Inc. (OTCQB: VSUL)

Visualant, Inc. (OTCQB: VSUL), a leading provider of disruptive light-based technologies, announced today that its TransTech Systems subsidiary has partnered with Matica Technologies for the distribution Matica Value Line printers products effective October 1, 2014. TransTech Systems, a leading value-added distributor of identification products, will distribute Matica’s Value Line printer products in the USA and Canada.

Matica’s Value Line products include the recently introduced Espresso and Moca direct-to-card ID card printers, as well as a new retransfer card printer, the XID 8100. The Matica XID series of printers are well-established in the marketplace and used by many of the most prestigious firms and government agencies in the nation. In addition, many of the top airports in the USA and several state driver’s license programs in the USA use Matica printers due their unmatched image quality and product reliability.

As a value-added distributor, TransTech provides the type of pre- and post-sale support that is often needed to help resellers navigate and meet the complex end-user requirements often found in advanced identification programs. Matica’s printer products are routinely deployed into solution sales for smart cards in government and private industry applications, and for mass transit programs and even EMV-compliant bankcards. TransTech has a reseller network that is already tapping these market opportunities and is well-poised to accelerate its market penetration rate with the addition of highly proven and respected products from a company like Matica.

Sandro Camilleri, the CEO of Matica, stated, “We are very happy to partner with TransTech for our distribution needs in the USA. Their business model is extremely complimentary to our own, and this partnership should help both companies achieve increased market share in a dynamic marketplace.”

“Matica Technologies’ channel is made up of the best integrators in the identification systems industry. We are very excited to become a part of Matica’s distribution plans,” said Jeff Kruse, President of TransTech Systems.
