This segment offers its products under the brand names of Natures Own, Whitewheat, Cobblestone Mill, Tastykake, Blue Bird, ButterKrust, Dandee, Mary Jane, Mary Jane and Friends, Evangeline Maid, Captain John Derst, Country Hearth, Natural Grain, Flowers Foods, Mi Casa, and Frestillas, as well as markets regional franchised brands, such as Sunbeam, Roman Meal, Bunny, Holsum, and Aunt Hatties. It sells its products through DSD route delivery system to retail and foodservice customers in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southwest, as well as in select markets in the Northeast, California, and Nevada. The Warehouse Delivery segment produces frozen breads, snack cakes, tortillas, and rolls to national retail, foodservice, vending, and co-pack customers. This segment markets its products under the brand names of Mrs. Freshleys, European Bakers, Broad Street Bakery, Leos Foods, and Juarez. The company was founded in 1919 and is headquartered in Thomasville, Georgia.
