New Jersey Mining Company (OTCBB:NJMC) announced last week, September 7, 2011, that the drill intercept of 29.2 meters of 5.15 g/t gold (true thickness) in drill hole GC 11-41T from a core drilling program underway at the Golden Chest mine in Murray, Idaho.  The CEO noted the results were better than expected and demonstrate the potential for a robust open pit resource. The work is on target for an underground and open pit resource by year end, followed by a 43-101 compliant report.
