Is your Email Provider Over Zealous?
Some ISP’s and email providers reject all email that is stock related.
While we have tried to find ways to insure delivery, we find that ISP’s like Comcast and email providers like Earthlink reject email arbitrarily that makes any mention of stocks. We have thoroughly tested this over the years, and we have come to accept it. Adding [email protected] will insure delivery in most cases to normal email providers. Others – like Yahoo Mail – sometimes delay mail for hours when certain key words trigger a delayed response. While we do not know exactly why, it is assumed by those in the industry that they are checking to see if the sender sends many more over time.
If you have a private domain, sometimes the server on which it is configured is using an over zealous filtering program. You can email me at anytime to get tips on how to make sure our emails clear. Over the years I have configured many servers, and I can suggest ways to make sure you do not miss important emails just because your server was configured to reject for many reasons you might not even know about.
