TORONTO, Sept. 21, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Forsys Metals Corp. (TSX: FSY) (FSE: F2T) (NSX: FSY) (“Forsys” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced non-brokered private placement by issuing 3,235,294 units at $0.17 per unit for gross proceeds of C$550,000.

Each unit consists of one Class A Common Share and one half of one Common Share purchase warrant, whereby each full warrant entitles the holder to acquire a new Common Share in Forsys at a price of $0.23 for a period of two years from the date of issue. All securities issued pursuant to the private placement are subject to a four-month and one-day hold period from the closing date.

Proceeds from the private placement will be used to fund the Norasa Uranium project in Namibia, as well as for general working capital purposes.
