San Diego, Aug. 10, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Borrego Solar Systems, a leading developer, designer, installer and operator of commercial solar and energy storage systems, announces the appointment of Andrew Hall as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Hall joined Borrego Solar in January 2015 as General Counsel. In August 2015, he became Executive Vice President, responsible for leading Human Resources and Information Technology (IT) as well. In his new role, Hall remains general counsel and retains responsibility for leading IT.

As CFO, Hall will lead the expansion of Borrego Solar’s capabilities in several areas, including financial and capital planning and business analytics. In addition, he will partner across the organization to build systems that align individual and team goals with Borrego Solar’s long-term strategic objectives for growth, people development, operational excellence and customer relationships.

Prior to joining Borrego Solar, Hall served as Corporate & Compliance Counsel at Thoratec Corporation, a publicly-traded medical device company, and as an associate attorney at Covington & Burling, LLP and Morrison & Foerster, LLP. Before practicing law, he was a research analyst in the credit risk management division of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Hall earned a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.A. in Economics and History from the University of Virginia.
