SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Aug. 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Meritage Homes Corporation (NYSE:MTH), a leading U.S. homebuilder, announced the appointment of Elliot Mann to Southern California Division President.

In this role, Mr. Mann is responsible for expanding the company’s presence in Southern California. He will oversee the division’s growth strategy and day-to-day operations, including land acquisition and development, home construction, customer service, purchasing, sales and marketing.

Mr. Mann brings 30 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, with a successful record of growing and improving the operations under his leadership, developing high-performance teams and achieving award-winning levels of customer satisfaction. 

Prior to joining Meritage Homes, Mr. Mann served as the Southern California Coastal Division President for CalAtlantic Homes. His career also includes tenures with Standard Pacific Homes, Ryland Homes, Homewood Corporation and the Pulte Group. Mr. Mann is a graduate of the University of Denver, where he earned his degree in real estate and construction management.
