The business and technology consulting firm has hired a new COO and CLO and expanded partnerships with Google, Microsoft and Facebook in response to growing demand for services that support enterprise-wide digital transformation projects

LOS ANGELES, July 10, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — SADA Systems, a global leader in business and technology consulting and services, has appointed technology industry veterans Dana Berg to Chief Operating Officer and Patrick Monaghan to Chief Legal Officer. Matt Lawrence, who had been SADA’s COO, is now the company’s Chief Financial Officer.

SADA is expanding its leadership team in response to significant business growth – the firm expects cloud revenues to increase by 300% from 2017 to 2018 – which has been fueled by an increase in customers that are looking for help with transformative solutions and projects changing how enterprises collaborate, gain insights, and innovate. These companies, which span vertical markets and tend to be large and midsize enterprises, require assistance in assessing their technology needs, and selecting cloud platforms and building new applications. Founded in 2000, SADA has helped Microsoft, Google and Facebook launch multiple cloud solutions and been involved in numerous digital transformation projects for companies including Colgate-Palmolive, Lahey Health, City of  Los Angeles, The McClatchy Company, Coffee Bean, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Panda Restaurant Group. The firm now employs roughly 200 people – which is double its headcount total from 2016.

Berg and Monaghan combined bring over 30 years’ technology industry experience to SADA. Berg most recently was Vice President at Hitachi Consulting and before that he was Americas Consulting Leader at Dell EMC and General Manager at Perficient. Monaghan, meanwhile, was Chief Legal Officer at multinational, publicly traded software and hardware company, Anoto, prior to joining SADA. Earlier in his career, Monaghan was a Partner at Kim & Chang, one of Asia’s largest law firms, where he successfully advised leading Fortune 500 corporations, domestic entities and multinational clients.

“We are extremely excited to have added high-caliber talent like Dana and Patrick to our team,” says Tony Safoian, President and CEO, SADA Systems. “The demand from our customers and partners continues to grow, both in ambition and sophistication. They have unique and massive business and technology challenges which require SADA to thoughtfully inject diverse and experienced executive talent into our DNA. SADA has built what we consider to be the world’s best team of consultants and practitioners when it comes to digital transformation. And now we’re adding the executive team to support our teams to execute at a higher level than ever before.”

Members of SADA’s executive team will be attending the upcoming Microsoft Inspire Conference in Las Vegas and Google Next Conference in San Francisco.
