But the tragedy can so easily be prevented.”
Every year, hundreds of Canadians are killed and tens of thousands are injured because people drive under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. MADD Canada and Allstate Insurance Company of Canada are emphasizing the vital role that every single person can play in keeping roads and communities safe from impaired driving.
- Never drive a car, boat, ATV or any other vehicle while impaired;
- Never ride with a driver who is impaired;
- Call 911 to report suspected impaired drivers.
