BRAMPTON, Ontario, May 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —

Trailcon Leasing’s new facility in Edmonton, announced in January, is one giant step closer to completion following the official ground-breaking ceremony held on May 24.

The 20,000-square-foot building, situated on six acres at 11690 Bevington Road in Acheson, AB, is expected to be completed by Q1 2019.

Trailcon chose the location because of the proximity to both its expanding client base and a rich labour pool. Once the new facility is operational, it will be staffed by Edmonton branch manager Dave Ambrock, as well as eight shop mechanics, three mobile mechanics, a service manager, operations coordinator, and two administrators.

“With our significant growth in business, the new facility will triple current capacity, improve productivity, improve turnaround time for customers, and provide a number of extra options with regards to equipment pool and availability,” says Ambrock.

Large, fenced-in yards with truck gates will accommodate about 120 trailers. Other security features include intrusion alarms, door access control, and closed-circuit television.

The new facility will replace the existing one, established in 2007.
