The unit consists of one disconnect and two 120/240V single phase main lug only panels. Operators are provided access to twenty-six L6-30R receptacles for powering 240V equipment at the work site.
The PDU-240V-800DS-2X400AMLO-MOD1 is a robust solution for electrical management and power distribution in industrial facilities. During operation, a customer-provided cord is used to bring 240V single phase power into the NEMA 3R 800-amp 240V single phase primary disconnect. Power is distributed to two, NEMA 3R 400-amp 120/240V single phase main lug only panels. Each main lug only panel features thirteen, 30-amp 250V breakers protecting thirteen, 30-amp L6-30R receptacles. In total, the UL 1640 power distribution station contains twenty-six, 30-amp 250V breakers and twenty-six, 30-amp L6-30R receptacles.
All receptacles are equipped with weatherproof covers for durability. Four, 15-amp spare breakers are also available on the system (two, 15-amp spare breakers per panel).
The panels and disconnect are protected by a NEMA 3R enclosure, which offers protection from dirt, moisture and dust. This allows the station to be installed in indoor or outdoor locations. The slim-profile panels are constructed of stainless steel. Lockable doors provide security, decreasing risks associated with tampering or accidental contact. Operators may mount the power distribution unit on flat surfaces. Portable variants mounted on carts are also available upon request.
For safety, the UL 1640 panels are labeled with a ‘High Voltage’ sign located at the openings. The signs utilize standard yellow and black colors, resulting in increased visibility and awareness.
