QUINCY, Calif., May 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —  Plumas Bancorp (Nasdaq:PLBC), the parent company of Plumas Bank (the “Bank”), recently thanked Director John Flournoy for his 13 years of service.

Mr. Flournoy is a rancher and hay producer in Likely, California, where he was born and raised and he has served on the Plumas Bancorp and Plumas Bank board since 2005.  He helped shepherd the Bank through the great recession, then went on to help shape the prosperous and growing institution that we are today.  With numerous other commitments and plans, Mr. Flournoy elected not to run for reelection and instead allowed his board term to expire as of Wednesday, May 16, 2018 – the date of Plumas Bancorp’s annual meeting of shareholders.

Director, President and Chief Executive Officer, Andrew J. Ryback, stated, “I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude for the years of dedicated service that John has provided to this institution.  John’s wisdom, knowledge and leadership have helped shape the Bank into the thriving and prosperous institution that it is today.  On a personal note, I will truly miss his kindness, patience and humor –  rare attributes that I hold in the highest regard.  On behalf of Plumas Bank, we wish John nothing but the best and extend our most sincere thanks for his 13 years of service on the board.”

Mr. Flournoy responded, “Serving on the board of Plumas Bancorp has been an enriching and rewarding experience.  I am proud to have been part of this journey and have the utmost confidence in my fellow directors and the management team as they guide Plumas Bank into the future.  I look forward to supporting the bank from outside of the boardroom.”
