NEW YORK, May 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — via OTC PR WIRE — The Greater New York Chamber of Commerce in partnership with SUNY Global is proud to announce the World Trade Week prestigious event, “World Trade Week Forum & Reception” to take place this evening. Every year, during World Trade Week, the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce lives up to its standing commitment to honor those who set an example that inspires their surrounding community and helps to improve world trade and commerce. In past years, this distinguished event has been held at the United Nations Headquarters Building and the Waldorf Astoria New York. This year, it will be held at SUNY Global Center in New York City on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, starting at 5:00 PM ET, where the Greater NY Chamber will be honoring members and friends for:

  1. Excellence in Exporting,
  2. Improving Corporate Cultures,
  3. Export Assistance, and
  4. Special Life Time Recognition & Solidarity Awards

In particular, those being recognized for “Excellence in Exporting” include NutraBlend Foods, Liptis Pharmaceuticals, Nature’s Bounty, Vitane Pharmaceutical Inc., and Vincent Tropepe Fashions. Business Relations and Vladimir Gerasichev – world-renowned business coach – will be honored for “Improving Corporate Cultures” given their work towards improving the understanding of International Corporate Cultures and World Trade. And, for their commitment to increasing world trade opportunities and providing export assistance and financing to NY based companies, Global NY will be honored for “Excellence in Export Assistance.”

In addition, as a very special honor, Sam & Donna Mizrahi-Kauderer and Sami Steigmann are slated to be recognized for the World Trade Week “Life Time Recognition Awards.”

In both cases, the award is meant to honor Holocaust Survivors who set an example of fighting and winning against all odds “so we never forget”. It should be noted that this ceremony comes just two days after the US moved to support one of our nation’s most important allies through the establishment of the US Consulate in Jerusalem, Israel.
