CALGARY, Alberta, March 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Parkland Fuel Corporation (“Parkland”) (TSX:PKI), North America’s fastest growing independent marketers of fuel and petroleum products, announced today the closing of its previously announced private offering (the “offering”) of US$500 million aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes due 2026 (the “notes”). The notes bear interest at a rate of 6.0% per annum and were priced at par. Parkland intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay certain outstanding amounts borrowed under its credit facility.

The notes have been offered and sold only to persons reasonably believed to be qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”) and sold outside the United States pursuant to Regulation S under the Securities Act.
