“We can’t walk a mile in someone else’s shoes, but we can make their work day more comfortable, which is the foundation our company is built on,” said Dr. Kevan Orvitz, founder and CEO of MEGAComfort. “This contest enables us to recognize and show appreciation for hard workers, and we are privileged to read stories of selfless, hard work and inspiration. Our MEGAComfort team is continually moved and motivated by the entries we receive.”

Nominated by his wife Jennifer Corrado and voted on by the public as the most deserving out of six finalists from across the country, Mr. Corrado was selected as Hardest Working individual because of his determination, relentless work ethic and devotion to his family. One supporter of Mr. Corrado said, they “selected this finalist because he really does have a hard job. It is hard on the body to do construction work, and they do not get the appreciation they deserve.”

“Hard work and being a good person really does pay off and I can’t wait for some happy feet,” said Mr. Corrado.

MEGAComfort also announced the winner of the Hardest Working Team sweepstakes, which recognized Maya Kassab and her team of incredible teachers at Traverse City West Senior High School.

“[This team of] teachers stand out because [they] are ferociously unwilling to let a student in [their] classes fail or be unsuccessful,” said Maya Kassab, teacher at Traverse City West Senior High School. “Our team feels very fortunate and downright spoiled by having the distinct honor of being the winners.”

“Everyone nominated was truly remarkable. We received countless stories of generosity, determination, selflessness, and hard work. The finalists from across the country were each extraordinary, and we’re honored to share their stories with the world,” said Dr. Orvitz.

The hardest working individual received $2,000 and 20 MEGAComfort insoles, and the hardest working team received a total of $4,000 and 5 insoles per team member.

Each year MEGAComfort looks forward to learning about the hardest working individuals and teams from across the country. You can participate next year for a chance to win the grand prize. Follow MEGAComfort on Facebook to learn more about the annual Hardest Worker Contest for 2018.
