ROYAL OAK, Mich., Nov. 13, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bonal International, Inc. (OTC:BONL) announced second quarter results, ending September 30, that continued last quarter’s trend with increased revenue, net income, and earnings per share over last year.  Revenue was $527,761 for the second quarter, up 17.6 percent over the second quarter last year.  Net income was $53,469, up from $16,471 for the same quarter last year and earnings per share were $0.03, up from last year’s second quarter of $0.01 per share.

“We are seeing signs that the U.S. metalworking industry continues to grow stronger,” said Thomas E. Hebel, chairman.  “The U.S. market accounted for 78 percent of the company’s revenue by volume, up from 54 percent in the same period last year.”

Year-to-date revenue was $1,143,559, up an impressive 43.3 percent from last year’s first six-month period.  Net income was strong at $162,632 compared to a slight loss of $4,860 for the first six-month period last year.
