(NASDAQ:IPDN) (“PDN” or the “Company”), a global developer and operator of online and in-person networks that provide access to networking, training, educational and employment opportunities for diverse individuals, today announced that PDN President Star Jones will be inducted into the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame on October 16, 2017 along with her former colleagues who were co hosts of The View.

Skilled in law, media and business, Ms. Jones is a member of the Company’s Board of Directors and President of Professional Diversity Network. A former Senior Assistant District Attorney for the city of New York, Ms. Jones previously served as a Legal Correspondent, Senior Analyst and highly sought after Television Personality for over two decades. From 1997-2006, she was co-host of ABC’s hit daytime show The View. For her work in television, Ms. Jones has received nine Emmy nominations. Also an accomplished author, Ms. Jones has written three best-selling books, produced multiple television shows and launched and supported numerous successful businesses.

A prolific fundraiser for philanthropic causes, since 2011, Ms. Jones has been the face of the American Heart Association’s (AHA) National Go Red efforts as the National Volunteer. Ms. Jones has been a national surrogate for the Democratic Party for every Presidential election since 1996 and frequently lectures on a variety of topics, including law, politics, race, gender equality, networking, women’s empowerment, pop culture, fitness and heart health. Ms Jones received her Bachelor of Arts in the Administration of Justice from American University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston.

Most recently, Ms. Jones has been Executive Producer of “Daytime Divas” which airs on VH1.

The event is expected to be the Company’s highest attended event, potentially drawing as many as 5,000 paid participants, setting the stage for the Company’s 2018 growth plans.
