MEMPHIS, Tenn., July 31, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ronald J. York, CTP, has been promoted to treasury executive for First Tennessee Bank. York will provide strategic direction for all aspects of the company’s treasury management products and services, an important focus for First Tennessee, which was recently Top 5 among American Banker’s Top 10 Most Reputable U.S. Banks. York has been leading treasury and deposit acquisition for First Tennessee’s Mid-Atlantic region, which includes the bank’s markets in the Carolinas, Virginia and Florida.
York previously held senior roles in treasury management for TD Bank and SunTrust Bank. He was most recently senior vice president of treasury management sales for SunTrust’s commercial regional markets. He has extensive experience in both sales and strategy as well as specialty industry background in sectors including healthcare, commercial real estate and private wealth management. He has overseen teams covering sectors from small business to commercial and large corporate clients.
