SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Oct. 20, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — GroGenesis, Inc. (OTCQB:GROG) (the “Company”), a global sustainable solutions company and producer of AgraBurst PRO™, an organic, non-GMO nano-surfactant for growers, fertilizer manufacturers and commercial lawn and turf companies, announced the formation of a new subsidiary, American Water Sanitation, LLC, and a strategic partnership with Eco Squared Solutions, Inc. (“ESSI”) and Eco Water Solutions, Inc. (“EWSI”).  The new strategic partnership will be jointly controlled and managed by ESSI and EWSI, acting together as exclusive owner and licensee of the system, and the Company.  American Water Sanitation will offer innovative, sustainable, proprietary solutions to water remediation and wastewater treatment for toxic run-off in agriculture, fracking recovery ponds and algae blooms in lakes, reservoirs and ponds.

EWSI is a sustainable water remediation company with a unique approach to sanitizing and recycling water used by various industries such as oil and gas, agriculture, and environmental impact areas.  By incorporating a proprietary physics-based approach to water reclamation, EWSI has developed mobile platforms for onsite water treatment.  Unlike conventional water remediation processes that involve only membrane filtration technology, EWSI utilizes on its mobile platforms a unique water separation system which removes hydrocarbons, suspended and dissolved solids in conjunction with electrocoagulation (ECA) technology to further remove contaminants such as petroleum hydrocarbons, emulsified oil, suspended solids, dissolved solids, harmful bacteria and heavy metals.  The ECA water treatment process employs an electric current to remove various contaminants from water by delivering electric currents across metal plates that are submerged in the contaminated water.  Because heavy metals, organics, and inorganics are primarily suspended in water by electrical charges, the application of a specific electrical charge to the toxic element, protein, and bacteria in the waste water, the system destabilizes and separates the particulate matter from the contaminated water.  These particles coagulate into a form that is easily removed in mass through skimming or draining the sediment from ECA reactor tanks.

Mr. Charles Rau, Chief Technology Officer of ESSI and EWSI, commented, “I have spent many years in researching and developing a comprehensive water remediation system.  Early on, it became clear that there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution.  There is no single filtration system known that can successfully treat the many variants in and that is unique to any particular contaminated water source.  Our proprietary mobile ‘Unitized Single-Pass System’ is unique.  Our system provides the mobility for access in remote areas as well as the flexibility to address specific water contaminants and pathogens with targeted remediation objectives.  We share the vision of GroGenesis and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship with them to further their goals with other global strategic partners.”

Mr. Richard Kamolvathin, President and CEO of GroGenesis, said, “We are very enthused to enter into a strategic partnership with Eco Water Solutions.  Their electrocoagulation technology is cutting edge.  Its cost efficient and effective approach to water remediation and mobility is a value added proposition to the sustainable agriculture market space.  It is an unfortunate fact that most water remediation projects are not conveniently located and currently necessitate expensive transport of the waste water to a centralized treatment facility.  We now offer a mobile solution to address waste water and the impact it has on the environment and food production.”

Mr. Kamolvathin concluded, “With this strategic partnership, GroGenesis moves beyond just a sustainable agriculture company to becoming a sustainable solutions company.  To be sure, efficient and eco-friendly agriculture requires revitalized and clean water.  And, to this end, this technology answers the universal problem for farmers on how to obtain and/or reuse water resources.  By providing GroGenesis with the very attractive potential to diversify our future revenue streams across a number of other industries, our overriding corporate goal of building shareholder value is enhanced.”
