COLUMBUS , Ohio, July 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — An eSchoolView team of riders is set to jump on the trail and ride in Pelotonia 16 to help fight cancer.
The Columbus, Ohio-based educational website and software development company will send five riders on a 50-mile journey on Aug. 6 from the city’s downtown to New Albany, Ohio.
eSchoolView has a significant history of contributing to charitable causes, from philanthropic gifting during the holidays to sponsoring scholarships and donating websites to civc groups working to help pass ballot issues on behalf of their local school districts.

eSchoolView earned the Columbus Business First Corporate Caring Award two years ago for its local contributions. The company received accolades the same year for a coding class one of the eSchoolView staffers instructed at Hannah J. Ashton Middle School in nearby Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
With more than $50,000 committed to its Investing In Our Future program, eSchoolView has carved a path to help students and districts develop 21st century skills, prepare for the future and meet community expectations.
eSchoolView expects to raise at least $7,500 toward Pelotonia 16. One hundred percent of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to cancer research at The Ohio State University’s comprehensive cancer center, the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solve Research Institute.
Founded in 2008, Pelotonia was established with the objective to fund life-saving cancer research. It is a three-day experience that includes a weekend of cycling, entertainment and volunteerism. In its first seven rides, Pelotonia raised more than $106 million for cancer research. With less than 10 days until the event, contributions and pledges for Pelotonia 16 are nearing $10 million.
