ATLANTA, Oct. 27, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ScottMadden, Inc., one of North America’s leading energy consulting firms, is proud to join the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) in leading a group of approximately 25 U.S. energy industry executives to the deregulated “energy market laboratory” of Texas to examine how innovative programs and integration tools help leading utilities and technology companies grow and thrive in this dynamic energy market. The trip, which will take place November 2–5, 2015, will focus on addressing key questions including:
- What are the drivers for the growth of renewables and distributed energy resources in Texas?
- How is the regulatory landscape developing and what are the impacts on the key stakeholders?
- In what ways are public power and electric cooperative utilities leading the way?
- What tools and approaches are being tested in Texas and how can these tools help maintain reliability and build resiliency in the future?
