ASHEVILLE, N.C., Oct. 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — HomeTrust Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ:HTBI) (the “Company”), the holding company for HomeTrust Bank, N.A., announced today that the Company will pay the former shareholders of BankGreenville Financial Corporation (“BankGreenville”) $0.41 per share or approximately $484,000 as additional merger consideration. The Company acquired BankGreenville on July 31, 2013. Under the terms of the merger agreement, the Company paid $6.63 per share in cash consideration or approximately $7.8 million, with the potential for additional contingent cash consideration of up to $0.75 per share (or approximately $883,000) at the expiration of a 24-month performance period for the select pool of loans. The Company will make the payment on October 27, 2015.
