NEWPORT NEWS, Va., Oct. 16, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE:HII) announced today that Frazer R. Lockhart, vice president for waste operations at its SN3 (Stoller Newport News Nuclear) subsidiary, has been appointed to the Department of Energy’s Environmental Management Advisory Board (EMAB).

Established in 1992, the EMAB provides independent external advice, information and recommendations to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Assistant Secretary of Environmental Management on corporate issues related to accelerated site clean-up and risk reduction. The board consists of 15 members from government and non-government entities, private industry and scientific and academic communities.
