LAS VEGAS – AWS re:Invent, Oct. 06, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —

Racemi announces expansion of its No Cost Automated Migration program to 10 public AWS Regions, including AWS GovCloud (US). Now, qualified customers are eligible to access Racemi’s DynaCenter enterprise migration software at no cost (usual AWS usage fees apply). Racemi DynaCenter enables businesses to move large numbers of server workloads to AWS in an automated, secure, and reliable way with support for Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) and direct migrations to 10 public AWS Regions, including AWS GovCloud (US).

The program was originally announced at the AWS Public Sector Symposium in June for North American AWS regions only. Based on its success, now Racemi is expanding the program to include eligible customers in all AWS regions. In addition, qualified AWS Partner Network (APN) Consulting Partners, supporting AWS customers, can take advantage of this program.

“AWS has been great to work with, and the initial launch of our AWS No Cost Automated Migration program has been extremely successful,” said Lawrence Guillory, CEO of Racemi. “Racemi is pleased to be able to expand this program to allow more businesses to rapidly accelerate their migrations to AWS.”

In conjunction with this worldwide program expansion, Racemi is launching a new Partner Training and Certification program (www.racemi.com/training) for consulting partners and system integrators, in order to support the growing worldwide customer demand for Racemi expertise.

One of the initial program participants, Brad Bartholomew, security manager, Adobe Managed Services, said, “Not only was Racemi quick to engage, but they were able to help us migrate AWS instances into the AWS GovCloud (US) region in a few hours that otherwise would have taken us days using alternate methods.”

“Enterprise application migration is one of the top requests we get from AWS customers across the globe,” said Terry Wise, vice president of worldwide partner ecosystem, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “We are excited to see Racemi launch a training program for members of the AWS Partner Network (APN) and extend its Automated Migration offering to more customers and APN Consulting partners. This offering accelerates the benefits customers achieve by moving enterprise applications to AWS.”

Access to DynaCenter for qualifying AWS customers was announced today at the AWS re:Invent 2015 in Las Vegas. More information and registration can be found at www.racemi.com/free.

Racemi DynaCenter enables partners and customers to migrate server workloads between physical, virtual, and cloud platforms. DynaCenter captures the entire server stack – operating system, applications, network, and storage configuration – and then transforms the workload in flight to run on AWS. This automated, unattended process helps to make server workload migrations fast and cost effective. Once initial migration and verification testing is complete, DynaCenter also supports delta data synchronization, which recognizes block level changes to files since the previous capture, and transmits the changed blocks to the target securely using firewall-friendly, outbound HTTPS connections to provide maximum security and reliability. This provides the migrated workloads on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) with the latest production data, configuration, and settings prior to the migration cut over process. DynaCenter software also supports AWS CloudFormation templates to simplify installation and configuration, as well as the capability to automatically select server size when deploying and migrating servers to AWS.

As an Advanced Technology Partner in the AWS Partner Network (APN), Racemi was recognized at AWS re:Invent 2014 for being an “Invent & Simplify” APN Partner.
