(Nasdaq:ITCI), a biopharmaceutical company, today announced the completion of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 6,900,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $43.50 per share. In addition, the underwriters have exercised an option to purchase an additional 1,035,000 shares of common stock at the public offering price, less the underwriting discounts and commissions.
All of the shares in the offering were sold by Intra-Cellular Therapies, with gross proceeds to Intra-Cellular of approximately $345 million and net proceeds of approximately $327.4 million, after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses.
