NEW YORK, Sept. 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ALM’s The National Law Journal will honor the 50 law firms who accomplished the largest awards for their plaintiff clients in 2015 at an awards ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes on November 5. The event follows the release of the second annual America’s Elite Trial Lawyers list, which was published by The National Law Journal and is available online at www.nlj.com.

This year’s honorees helped their clients win over $35 billion in recoveries, according to ALM’s VerdictSearch, the leading provider of verdict and settlement research. They were selected following extensive research, analysis and nomination vetting using VerdictSearch to identify the top verdicts and settlement amounts, as well as the firms who represented the most cases from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. Those included on the 2015 Elite Trial Lawyers list either secured over $40M in awards during this period or had four or more cases totaling over $15M in awards during the same time span.
Some 300 guests are expected to gather at the Orlando’s Ritz Carlton to celebrate the 50 law firms who secured places on this year’s list, along with the recipients of the Elite Trial Lawyers Lifetime Achiever Award and the 35 Elite Trial Lawyer Litigation Category Finalists.
