MarvelOptics.com Selects Scholarship Winner from 1,200 Applicants

SUGAR LAND, Texas, Sept. 22, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — MarvelOptics.com, a leading prescription eyeglass company, is pleased to announce the winner of their national scholarship essay contest. Allison Enyeart, a psychology major from Indiana University Bloomington, was selected from 1,200 applicants as the winner of a $1,500 scholarship for tuition and books.

With their understanding of the value of education, MarvelOptics.com invited students from across the nation to participate in an essay contest where they were asked to discuss why they felt vision and sight were important or to comment on a quote given by Theodore Roosevelt, “Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground.”

After reviewing the 1,200 applications that came both as written essays and short video clips, Enyeart stood out for her discussion on both topics. “Set your sights on a dream, keep moving forward and physically make it happen.
