DEVENS, Mass., Sept. 17, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) and its strategic business unit, AOA Xinetics, announced the appointment of M. Roman Hachkowski as general manager of the business.

Hachkowski joins Northrop Grumman with years of optical systems experience in developing and bringing to market complex defense, government and industrial products and services. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, he worked for General Dynamics, BAE Systems, ZYGO and Goodrich (UTAS). Among his career accomplishments, Hachkowski is credited with several patents on a segmented mirror for an optical space telescope.
Hachkowski holds a bachelor’s degree from MIT in aeronautics and astronautics, as well as a master’s and doctorate in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
