Each year, the USHCC recognizes a female entrepreneur whose outstanding leadership, pioneering spirit, social and economic contributions exemplify the best of America’s business community.
“As the head of one of the fastest-growing, woman-led companies in the country, Betty represents the best of America’s business community. From working for Corporate 100 Telecommunications Company supporting sales in the Middle East and Latin America, to founding Argent Associates as a certified woman and Hispanic-owned business, Betty has served as a role model for our community,” said USHCC President & CEO Javier Palomarez. “For twenty years, she has met every challenge presented to her, proving herself to be a formidable entrepreneur and an inspirational success. We are proud to recognize her as the 2015 Businesswoman of the Year.”
“It truly is an honor to receive this prestigious award,” said Betty Manetta. “However, I must acknowledge that the Argent team is my village. Their commitment to creative excellence is the foundation that has fueled our growth. I am humbled by the USHCC’s recognition and our customers trust. With them our vision to be a catalyst for our community’s economic growth has become a reality. I believe we all have a responsibility to ensure a future for the generations to come.”
