NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Soupman, Inc. (Pink Sheets:SOUP) (www.originalsoupman.com), New York’s fast growing premium soup maker, announces that it is now the official soup of MetLife Stadium. Soupman will be serving its tasty soups at four locations at MetLife Stadium during all Giants and Jet games and all stadium events for this season and for the next 3 years. Its Original Soupman store, located at 55th St. and 8th Ave. since 1984, inspired Seinfeld to create the famous “soup episode” based upon huge demand for the product and the unique way the owner, the “Soupman,” served his customers.

The “Soupman” himself, who famously told customers “No Soup for You,” will be at MetLife Stadium on September 13, for the season opener and throughout the season.

The “Soupman” will be appearing for photos and mingling with the crowds when he takes the ladle in hand and begins serving soup at each of the four MetLife Stadium locations including in the Chase Club, Toyota Club, and on the 100 and 300 concourse levels.

“What better way to kick off football season than being served a delicious cup of hot soup by the Soupman himself,” said Jamieson Karson, CEO of Soupman, Inc. “Now, football fans can enjoy New York’s favorite soup at MetLife Stadium. Our new partnership with MetLife Stadium is another major milestone in our multi-channel distribution strategy as it increases our brand awareness and broadens distribution, all geared to delivering profitable growth.”

Soupman soups are also available in eco-friendly Tetra Paks next to Campbell’s and Progresso in the soup aisle of Safeway, Publix, Kroger, HEB and many more supermarkets and fine retailers across the America.
