BOSTON, Sept. 3, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP) is pleased to announce its third AWARE for All event in the Chicago metropolitan area on September 28, 2015. This free program is designed to improve understanding about clinical research participation and promote dialogue by connecting patients, researchers, and members of the general public in the local community.
The event will be hosted at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine on Monday, September 28 from 5PM to 8PM. This program will feature free health screenings, informational exhibits, meaningful presentations from prominent Chicago medical professionals and researchers about various health conditions, and local patients involved in clinical research, as well as refreshments and prizes.
Funding for this event is provided by Advanced Clinical, EMD Serono, Great Lakes Clinical Trials, and the Lupus Research Institute. This free event is open to the public; however, advanced registration is strongly encouraged through www.awareforall.org or by calling 1-877-MED-HERO (1-877-633-4370).
