There are fewer and fewer “holding companies” on the smallcaps, as FINRA and the SEC are mostly not allowing companies that consider their business model to be anything they can acquire. The truth is in the past ten or twelve years, most of these “holding companies” have really hidden the fact that many of these companies are really empty shells.
