AirTouch Developing True “Triple Play” Targeting Growing Global Demand for Telecom Services

NEWPORT BEACH, CA – AirTouch Communications, Inc. (OTCBB: ATCH) (www.airtouchinc.com), which designs and markets wireless telecommunications devices, today announced that Chief Financial Officer Jerome S. Kaiser has been interviewed by CEONEWS.Tv, an online, market news and mobile financial news provider. The interview is available at http://www.ceonews.tv/atch/.

AirTouch Communications is engaged in the development and marketing of patented telecommunications devices capable of converging traditional landline, cellular and data services. During the interview, Mr. Kaiser describes that, “AirTouch designs and markets devices capable of converging voice and Internet and is developing the addition of video capability, which will integrate to deliver a true, wireless ‘triple play.’”

Kaiser noted that current products in the marketplace advertising triple play capabilities actually are bundling packages for cable, landline, and Internet service requiring different hardware. AirTouch is developing products that will deliver all three services on one piece of hardware wirelessly over existing cellular networks. The use of existing cellular networks should enable AirTouch to be first-to-market with triple play.

AirTouch is led by CEO and founder, Hide Kanakubo, a veteran of Uniden, who has assembled a top-notch engineering team headed by CTO Hidekazu Nakama. AirTouch’s strategy is to provide devices for consumers and small businesses worldwide in locations which have cellular service, but are unlikely to receive landline service in the foreseeable future due to terrain and cost. AirTouch has therefore focused on emerging markets specifically with plans in the near term for distribution throughout Latin America and China. Carlos Isaza will lead the sales team in Latin America and Tom Quan in China.

AirTouch has several revolutionary products hitting the market. The HomeConneX ® family of products enables voice and data with signal enhancement through the existing cellular network. The SmartLinX™ family of products is for consumers in markets that want connection to a landline, but want the ability to connect to that landline using their smart mobile phone, thereby saving cellular phone minutes and enjoying the convenience of dialing using their contact list.

Kaiser added that the company has assembled a team of partners for inventory financing, distribution, product design, and manufacturing for two product families to enable consumers to “cut the cord” or “keep the cord.”
