Vicor Technologies’ CEO David H. Fater, announced on July 27, 2011, that the company has entered into a licensing and development agreement with ZOLL Medical Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of resuscitation and critical care devices.

The agreement allowed ZOLL to incorporate Vicor’s patented, proprietary PD2i® nonlinear algorithm into ZOLL products.  This is to enable the ability to predict the risk of future serious events, such as sudden or imminent death in specific patient populations.  ZOLL will add Vicor’s PD2i® technology in existing and future products to permit real time analysis of patient physiological information and risk prediction to enable earlier intervention in patients and prevent serious events.

VCRT Disclosure: StockGuru entered into an investor relations consulting and market awareness contract with VCRT. We are also doing a video on ShareholderVision.com that will be released shortly.  The Company will pay us a total of seventy two hundred dollars and fifty thousand shares of restricted 144 stock for the period ending August 31, 2011. We still hold hold these shares.  To avoid all potential conflicts of interest, we never sell shares into the open market during an active market awareness or investor relations program. This means that as we release new information about a particular client company either on our site or otherwise authored by us, you can be confident we are not selling shares at the same time. StockGuru is not a registered investment adviser or a broker/dealer. StockGuru makes no recommendation that the purchase of securities of companies profiled in this web site is suitable or advisable for any person, or that an investment in such securities will be profitable.  In early 2010, the Company paid us seventy two hundred dollars and fifty thousand shares of restricted 144 stock for a prior round of coverage that ended.   In general, given the nature of the companies profiled and the lack of an active trading market for their securities, investing in such securities is highly speculative and carries a high degree of risk.
