Athena Silver Corporation (OTCBB:AHNR) announced on May 27, 2011, the commencement of a National Instrument 43-101 technical report and review of the Company’s Langtry project near Barstow, California. The NI 43-101 report will be prepared by SRK Consulting (U.S.) Inc. (“SRK”) of Tucson, Arizona. Athena retained SRK to carry out an independent technical study of Langtry, in particular to examine the historical mineral resource data in conjunction with Athena’s confirmation drilling, and to report a current resource estimate sufficient for NI 43-101 reporting purposes.
