Vendum Batteries (OTCBB: VNDB) has a market cap of $120M and is moving like a spring chicken, UP as much as 167% since the StockGuru Spotlight; this company continues to look strong.  Review how their paper thin patent pending batteries WITH NO TOXIC ELEMENTS are used, the tremendous scope and need for them.  You know why they have a great market cap, a back log of news and are moving like mad:  VNDB produces durable battery power for cell phones, iPods, human implants and eventually electrical vehicles.  We all need those.

Watch this like a hawk — and look at their news.  They are releasing news daily. When you see company releasing news as often as they are, you know it’s backed up, and typically good.

VNDB has a pending patent on a non-toxic, cellulose and CNT based light-weight battery. The paper-thin battery contains none of the toxic elements used in conventional batteries, such as mercury, lead, chromium, or cadmium.  The company employs a carbon nanotube and cellulose-based technology which makes it entirely biodegradable. The Vendum Battery will be developed from its current low power capacity, to soon accommodate the ever-increasing global demand for durable battery power for cell phones, iPods, human implants and eventually electrical vehicles.

This is a great product with the potential for a huge demand.

The paper-thin VNDB battery contains none of the toxic elements used in conventional batteries, such as mercury, lead, chromium, or cadmium.  A battery with no toxic elements has the potential to dominate the market.

Because current common button batteries are such an incredible danger to toddlers, many consumer groups are warning to avoid them all together — and there are no label warnings for toys for childen.   For a child the battery can cause chemical burns in two hours.  In six hours, the battery can eat through the esophagus or organ it is pressed against. In eight to 10 hours, it can be fatal.

As consumer groups become more aware of these issues, VNDB has the potential to provide a NON TOXIC battery.

One and two year olds compose 62% of reported button battery ingestions.  This has become such a problem that there is now a Button Battery Ingestion Hotline at 202-625-3333, which is answered 24/7 and can be reached by a collect call in necessary.

According to the National Capital Poison Center, more than 3,000 people in the United States each year swallow these button cell batteries found in:

  • Car’s key fob
  • Watch
  • Calculator
  • Small remotes
  • Singing greeting cards
  • Toys
  • Electronic games
