Biopack Environmental Solutions Inc. (OTCBB: BPAC) has been in the environmentally sound packaging business since 1995.

So what we are now witnessing is a Company in serious growth mode and making their big move on all fronts.

Biopack is expanding geographically.

Just this week they announced that they would be BOTH selling products in South America and manufacturing products in South America from locally available a recyclable compound.  Bagasse is the agricultural waste that remains after sugar cane stalks are processed for their juices. Up until a few years ago, sugar mills had to pay to have this excess “bio-waste” removed and disposed of.

The Company also announced that it has modified production machines to achieve significant efficiency increases and corresponding cost savings and plans to expand this modification to other machines.

Creating a Better Product: Biodegradeable Coating

Biopack’s new moisture resistant, biodegradable coated products could be the catalyst to revolutionize the packaging industry and has the potential to expand revenue in a significant fashion.

This new revolutionary coating, along with the company’s award winning products are 100% biodegradable and home compostable. Companies around the world have tried to develop a suitable alternative to the environmentally harmful materials such as plastic and polystyrene.

Biopack has beaten everyone to the punch! BPAC has invested the last two years in R&D to come up with this breakthrough and much needed solution, targeting lucrative markets where there is a need for moisture resistance and prolonged shelf life.

Biopack’s new coating application is a technological breakthrough and will enable Biopack to establish a dominant position in enormous markets such as the fast food market, fresh meat and seafood markets, supply airlines around the world with biodegradable solutions and the cash cow of all food packaging; the ready-meal frozen food market.

Biopack believes that work with companies that are experts in their fields will allow the Company to develop and penetrate those markets faster and more effectively.

Three Key Drivers Behind Sustainable Packaging Market:

  1. Legislation (increasing population and deteriorating environment)
  2. Consumer Demand (green trend is growing, and people are being more responsible)
  3. Corporate Image (companies around the world are supporting the green movement)
