Multiple Sutherland Healthcare Solutions Delivery Sites Receive Prestigious URAC Accreditation, Highlighting Commitment to Quality and Service

CLIFTON, N.J., Oct. 03, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Sutherland Healthcare Solutions, Inc., today announced it received full URAC Credentials Verification Organization Accreditation at both its Chesapeake and Hyderabad delivery locations. This accreditation was completed after URAC performed a full auditing of these two Sutherland sites as well as the internal processes of several departments within Sutherland.

The URAC accreditation process demonstrates a commitment to quality services and serves as a framework to improve business processes through benchmarking organizations against nationally recognized standards.

URAC accreditation requires applicants to submit policies, procedures, and other organizational information that is followed by a review. Once an application is received by URAC, a primary reviewer is assigned and coordinates all aspects of the review until a decision on accreditation has been determined.

“We applaud Sutherland Healthcare Solutions on achieving full URAC Credentials Verification Organization Accreditation,” said URAC President and CEO Kylanne Green. “In today’s healthcare market, URAC accreditation provides a mark of distinction for organizations to demonstrate their commitment to quality healthcare.”

Dr. Graham Hughes, Sutherland Healthcare Solutions’ chief executive officer, echoed Ms. Green’s sentiments. “It’s truly an honor to be recognized by URAC for our commitment to providing clients with high-quality healthcare solutions. Receiving this prestigious distinction underscores our commitment to our clients and using best practices in healthcare. Moving forward, this accreditation allows us to handle more complex data which will allow us to better serve our client’s future needs through higher value solutions. Ultimately, earning URAC accreditation is about being able to better provide solutions that help our clients achieve the Triple Aim of healthcare.”
