The acquisition is a joint venture between The Hampshire Companies, through its Hampshire Direct Investment program, and HLC Equity, a Pittsburgh based real estate investment firm. Hampshire and HLC and or its affiliates have had partnerships that have spanned three generations, comprising of over 50 jointly owned assets.  The Sage Brook Apartment Complex features 216 existing units located just three miles from the upscale Cherry Creek neighborhood.
