(TSX-V:MXL) (FSE:ODV) (OTCQX:MXLGF) (the “Company” or “MX Gold”) announces that on August 12, 2016 and August 15, 2016, Trappers Transport Ltd., a company owned and controlled by director and CEO Dan Omeniuk, acquired an aggregate of 255,000 additional common shares of the Company on the market.

Following the August 12, 2016 and August 15, 2016 purchases, Dan Omeniuk and his affiliated companies held an aggregate of:

  • 13,886,226 common shares; and
  • 13,011,560 warrants to purchase an additional 13,011,560 common shares.

These securities were acquired for investment purposes only.  Depending on economic or market conditions or matters relating to the Company, Dan Omeniuk may choose to either acquire additional securities or dispose of securities of the Company.
