In September 2015, SBF completed a six million dollar ($6MM) Series A funding round which included a capital commitment by Devon Hill Capital Partners (DCHP) a Greater Philadelphia based private equity and investment firm. SBF relocated from their office in Bala Cynwyd, PA to a new modern and open floor plan office in King of Prussia, PA. This move was made to accommodate the rapid growth of the company and ongoing recruitment of new employees to build out their technology, marketing, underwriting, and sales teams. SBF has increased its staff to twenty-seven full time employees and plans to hire an additional ten to twenty over the next several quarters.
