To recognize and celebrate the anniversary, Community Bank has created a display at the Carmichaels Branch, which chronicles the 115 years of Community Bank’s history. The Carmichaels Branch in 1901 was known as The First National Bank of Carmichaels. In addition to the display the Carmichaels Branch will provide light food and beverage and of course a birthday cake for its customers.
As part of the 115th Anniversary celebration and in recognition of an even more important anniversary celebration, Community Bank will present a check in the amount of $15,000 to the “Carmichaels Sestercentennial Committee”. This committee was formed to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the founding of Carmichaels, Greene County which will occur in 2017. “We are honored to be a part of the Carmichaels community for the past 115 years. We believe it is only fitting as part of our celebration to partner and support Carmichaels’ 250th Anniversary celebration,” said Barron P. “Pat” McCune Community Bank President and CEO.
There will be a check presentation photo opportunity with Pat McCune, Board of Director Members, bank employees and the “Carmichael’s Sestercentennial Committee” at 11AM on Friday July 1st.
In the spirit of being a good neighbor the “Community Bank Cares” charitable giving program was established in 2014. To date we have contributed over $115,000 to charities as directed by our customers. This Sestercetennial contribution fits well with our good neighbor “Community Bank Cares” giving program.
