Toronto, ON, June 15, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —

Habitat for Humanity Canada and Green Terra Homes are excited to announce a new phase of their partnership that will help families achieve affordable homeownership across the country. As an ongoing commitment, Green Terra Homes will give their customers the option to donate one per cent of the cost of their purchase to Habitat Canada.

Like Green Terra Homes and its customers, Habitat Canada believes in the importance of sustainable building.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with an innovative company like Green Terra Homes,” says Mark Rodgers, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity Canada. “This relationship shows that both Green Terra Homes and Habitat Canada are committed to designing and constructing homes that allow families to be strong, stable and independent.”

The two organizations also teamed up in 2015, with Green Terra Homes making a commitment to provide Habitat Canada with steel home framing kits.

“This continued partnership is a testament to the great things we can achieve when we work together,” according to Holly Khani, CEO of Green Terra Homes. “We believe that as our customers choose environmentally-friendly housing, they will jump at the chance to help families across the country who are in need of affordable housing.”
