I know. You’re waiting for Apple’s Apple Watch. You cannot wait to put down somewhere between under $400 and several thousand dollars for it. But – it’s more than a month off. If you’re fast enough, we just might have found watch for you.

It’s the Go EZ SmartWatch (TM).  (Yes, don’t forget the trademark symbol!)

Is the product any good?

amazon-reviewsLet’s look at the Amazon Reviews:

Note that all the reviews were written on over this past weekend. Let’s quote each of the three reviews:

  • FIVE STARS: “This is such an amazing product. It’s inexpensive but very high quality. Apple who? This product blows it away!”
  • FIVE STARS: “Wonderful Product! Really like it. It works well with my iphone 6. Would recommend it.”
  • FIVE STARS: “It’s such a cool product that I can’t help buying one after another …”

None of these are noted as “verified purchases.”  None of the reviewers has EVER reviewed a product that is a “verified purchase.”  Two of these reviewers never reviewed anything – until this past weekend. The one on top has done three reviews of products, including this one.  Two reviews of products (none verified purchases) with FIVE STARS. The third review is a backpack reviewed in July of last year. Just two stars there.

I point out the reviews because I have never had great success with tech items bought on unverified reviews. This thing might be great. Actually, it’s hard to lose for the price.

Is the stock a good buy?

I can answer this question a lot more easily. Only 200 shares have traded this year. It is currently priced at $4.00 per share. The filings show many classes of preferred in addition to the common stock:

You can go and read the 10-Q filed most recently for details. The image is from an S-1 just filed. I see no way this can appreciate in value – unless through momentum alone. The structure for the common shareholder is not good. The current price is not connected to any reality I can see.
